Chatam is a village located along the Southern Main Road in Siparia just before Cedros Trinidad. Known as a residential area, many residents of Chatam are owners of small businesses such as parlours, mini marts bars etc. however, one of the main source of income for these villagers are from fishing.

In Chatam, there is the Chatam beach where many excursions visit from all over Trinidad.
