About the Region
Gasparillo
Gasparillo is a town in southern Trinidad. It lies east of Pointe-à-Pierre and northeast of San Fernando. The population is 16,426. The name Gasparillo is applied not only to Gasparillo area, but also the surrounding communities including Bonne Aventure, Reform and Whiteland. Trinidadians do not use Spanish sounds when saying Gasparillo. Correct local pronunciation is "gas-PARR-ri-low." Gasparillo is administrated by Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo Regional Corporation and Princes Town Regional Corporation.
Gasparillo owes much of its size to its proximity to the Petrotrin oil refinery at Pointe-à-Pierre. It also provides the only publicly accessible route from the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway to the town of Marabella and the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, named for Olympian, Scout Leader and long-time Gasparillo resident, Manny Ramjohn.

Piparo
Piparo is a village in Central Trinidad on the southern edge of the Central Range.
Piparo was the home of Ras Shorty I (born Garfield Blackman) during his self-imposed break from the soca world. Living simply in this rural community Ras Shorty-I developed Jamoo, a fusion of soca and gospel music.
Piparo was the site of a large mud volcano eruption on February 22, 1997. The eruption covered an area of 2.5 km² and displaced 31 families. The mud volcano now lies active where the eruption took place ( as of October 2019).
During the early twentieth century, Piparo was an important cocoa bean producer.
The small village is mainly inhabited by people of African and Indian descent. There are two mosques and three churches.
Since the eruption in 1997, an alternate road to the village has been established through the village of Guaracara or a detour around the volcanic site through Panchoo trace.
Reform
Reform Village is located in Gasparillo, Princes Town, Trinidad and Tobago. You can access this Village from the Naparima Mayaro Road, Gasparillo By-Pass Road or the Guaracara Tabaquite Road.
Known as a residential area, there are many businesses that support this community. Located in this area are schools, places of worship, a T&TEC substation and a Reform housing development.
Williamsville
Williamsville is a populated are located in Princes Town and can be accessed via the Corial Road or Garth Road, Trinidad and Tobago. It is known as a residential area. There is a main recreational ground known as the Brother’s Recreational ground where many cricket competitions are played.
Williamsville has much small businesses that support its community such as, mini marts, bars, parlours, liquor marts, auto care etc.
