Bayshore
Bayshore is located in the northwest peninsula of Trinidad, only 5.3 kms/3.3 mls from the capital Port of Spain. It is equidistant to Glencoe and Starlite Shopping Plazas and to West Mall Shopping Centre with its large array of shops. The name is derived from the practice of careening (i.e., beaching, "carénage" in French) sailing vessels for maintenance, which had been done in the area for many years.
