About this Property
Investment Opportunity! Eco Tourism Hotel in Lopinot, Trinidad – $14 million TTD or $2 million USD
Amanecer is a 20-room hotel tucked away in the lush, Lopinot hills. It sits on a 3-acre restored cocoa plantation with lots of fruit trees and lovely landscaping. It’s also surrounded by several hiking trails and refreshing pools. Apart from the caves and the historical sites of Lopinot, its actually only 8 kms from Asa Wright (as the crow flies) and less than a half hour drive from the Piarco Airport.
The hotel was built 12 years ago by an ‘old school’ engineer, so it is very sturdily constructed with a pragmatic, eco-friendly design. You won’t have a lot to do to turn this into a fully operational Eco Resort or Retreat Centre. With a few personal touches and aesthetic enhancements, your investment can be working for you.

About the Region
Lopinot
Lopinot is a village in Trinidad and Tobago, located in the foothills of the Northern Range, just north of Arouca.
Today, the small village of Lopinot remains largely unchanged despite the fact that the cocoa estates have been cleared to a large extent to facilitate the building of the school, the church and houses. Cocoa estates still remain and many people still engage in agriculture for a living. To date, remains of the cocoa houses and a jail are still evident in the village.
By the 1970s, the Trinidad and Tobago Tourist Board found that the Lopinot Village had great potential as a historic site and began to restore old structures to maintain the historical appeal of the village. Thus, Lopinot Village remains a part of Trinidad and Tobago that blossoms with natural and almost undisturbed beauty, and limitless history to be appreciated by all.
