This area has groceries and many small businesses alongside the Eastern Main Road (EMR) which provides services to the community. The centralized Constantine park provides use for sporting activities and exercising.
South functions around Industrial and manufacturing type businesses however there are residence living amongst this activity. This main carriageway located in El Dorado South can divert you to the Churchill Roosevelt Highway where you can find Massy Stores, Popeyes, Service Station etc.
El Dorado is protected by the Tunapuna police and Fire services. Many residence who require a wider array of services will usually commute to Tunapuna as this area acts as the main hub for shopping, cinema, or purchasing a wide array of goods offered form the well-known Tunapuna Market.

For over one hundred years, Tunapuna has been a Carnival venue. Each year this regional carnival, which is a showcase for traditional and conventional mas, steel band, and stick fighting, is organized by the Tunapuna Carnival Committee.
