About this Property

Esperanza Estate, Tucuragua Road, Caura

Looking for a fairly large estate with a spacious house in the East close enough to the hustle and bustle and yet set apart in beautiful isolation?

Would you wish to have a river meandering through it to provide water for irrigation, for the development of ponds and for pure enjoyment? Also to be located near to amazing trails and campsites? Would you also wish for a house on it so large you can fit friends, and family, and still have space for rooms to be able to rent out for extra income, or for carrying out estate-related or commercial activity work?

This gorgeous 47.6 Acre estate sits within the lush Caura valley on Tucuragua Road, which is just off the Caura Royal Road 6 km from the Eastern Main Road can fit the bill!

This property has been working as an estate for over 30 years and features a massive partially finished 7000 sqft two-story house which is enjoyed by the owners. It has been profitable working with the production of Pigs, Cattle, Ducks, Sheep, and other livestock, as well as Cocoa, Citrus, Lumber, Honey, Flowers and Vegetable crops.

With the local tourism boom now in full swing, the Estate House, with its tremendous open design and floor area, can be finished as a BnB hotel as it is within close proximity, but set apart, from many nature trails, campsites, and rivers that attract many visitors to the area.

The Tucuragua Road divides the property into two parcels with the Tucuragua river meandering across it at three points.  There is now a well-paved road with a box drain along it, all bridges have been built and electricity supply and street lights are in place.

The Westside 36 acres is forested and affords the owners loads of opportunities for its development. There is also a decent 2 bedroom house on this parcel which is currently occupied by a caretaker. The El Tucuche forest road also crosses this parcel closer to its Southern tip, facilitating future development with another access point.

The Eastside 12 Acres has been farmed with crops and rearing of animals over the years and features the large Estate house and a classic period clay-walled “cocoa house” which has been kept and maintained.

The Property can also be sold sub-divided and reasonable offers are invited.

Lopinot
Lopinot is a village in Trinidad and Tobago, located in the foothills of the Northern Range, just north of Arouca. Today, the small village of Lopinot remains largely unchanged despite the fact that the cocoa estates have been cleared to a large extent to facilitate the building of the school, the church and houses. Cocoa estates still remain and many people still engage in agriculture for a living. To date, remains of the cocoa houses and a jail are still evident in the village. By the 1970s, the Trinidad and Tobago Tourist Board found that the Lopinot Village had great potential as a historic site and began to restore old structures to maintain the historical appeal of the village. Thus, Lopinot Village remains a part of Trinidad and Tobago that blossoms with natural and almost undisturbed beauty, and limitless history to be appreciated by all.
